Here's a clear guide from booking to cancellation to payment.
Payment
Payment is charged when the boat arrives at port (or upon cancellation).
Four days before departure, we place a temporary hold on your card for the available balance. This isn't a charge yet — just preparation for payment. If you book within 4 days of departure, the hold is placed as soon as you book.
The amount held is the maximum possible charge for your booking (the charter rate). Once payment is finalized, the hold is released and any difference is automatically refunded to your card.

If the hold can't be placed successfully, your booking will be automatically canceled and no charge will occur.

If a trip is canceled due to bad weather, safety concerns, or issues on the operator's side such as boat trouble, no cancellation fee will apply. We'll notify you through the app.
To change your passenger count after booking, please cancel and rebook (the cancellation fee above will apply). If fewer passengers show up without notice, you'll still be charged for the number booked. If more passengers show up without notice, the extra passengers will not be able to board.
