Privacy Policy
Current Mobility Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") hereby establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as this "Policy") governing the handling of User Information, including personal information, of users in connection with the services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
Article 1 (General Provisions)
The Company shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, guidelines issued by relevant government ministries and agencies, and other applicable laws and regulations in order to ensure the protection of User Information.
This Policy applies to the use of the Service. In addition, where the Company sets forth provisions concerning the handling of User Information in a privacy policy or other personal information protection policy posted on the Company's website or application, or in terms of service relating to the Service, such provisions shall also apply; provided, however, that in the event of any conflict between such provisions and this Policy, this Policy shall prevail.
This Policy shall not apply to affiliated services provided by partner companies or any other services provided by third parties other than the Company (hereinafter referred to as "External Services"). With respect to the handling of User Information in connection with such External Services, please refer to the privacy policy or other applicable terms established by the provider of the relevant External Service.
Article 2 (User Information Collected)
Among User Information, "Personal Information" means "personal information" as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, namely information relating to a living individual that enables identification of a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other descriptions contained therein.
Among User Information, "History Information and Characteristic Information" means information other than "Personal Information," including the services used or products purchased, the date and time of use, the manner of use, the usage environment, postal code, gender, occupation, age, the user's anonymous ID, IP address, cookie information, location information, and device identification information.
Article 3 (Method of Collecting User Information)
The Company may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when a user registers for use of the Service. The Company may also collect transaction records, including a user's personal information, arising between the user and partner companies, as well as information relating to payments, from the Company's business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and advertisement distributors; hereinafter referred to as "Partners").
The Company collects History Information and Characteristic Information regarding a user, including the services or software used, products purchased, the date and time of use, the manner of use, the usage environment (including, where accessed via a mobile device, the communication status of such device and various setting information relating to use), IP address, cookie information, location information, and device identification information, at the time a user uses services provided by the Company or its Partners or browses related pages.
Article 4 (Purpose of Use)
1. The Company uses User Information for the purposes set forth in the following items.
(1) To use information necessary for the provision of the Service
(2) To display registration information such as name, address, contact details, and payment method, as well as information regarding services used or products purchased and the charges therefor, in order to enable users to view or correct their own registration information and to view their usage history
(3) To use a user's email address in order to send notices or communications to the user, and to use contact information such as name and address in order to ship products to the user or contact the user as necessary
(4) To use information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, bank account number, credit card number, driver's license number, and the delivery results of certified mail in order to verify a user's identity
(5) To use information relating to payment, including the name and quantity of products purchased, the type, duration, and frequency of services used, the amount billed, name, address, bank account number, and credit card number, in order to bill users for charges
(6) To display information registered with the Company on input screens, or to transfer such information to other services (including those provided by Partners) based on a user's instructions, in order to enable users to enter data conveniently
(7) To use information regarding a user's manner of use and information for identifying an individual, such as name and address, in order to refuse the use of the Service by users who have violated the terms of service governing the Service, including by delaying payment or causing damage to third parties, or by users seeking to use the Service for wrongful or improper purposes
(8) To use information necessary for the Company to provide the Service to users, such as the content of inquiries and information relating to billing, as well as a user's service usage history and contact information, in order to respond to inquiries from users
(9) Purposes incidental to the foregoing purposes of use
2. In addition to the foregoing, the Company also uses User Information for the purposes set forth below. (1) To create statistical data processed into a form that does not identify any individual, in connection with the Company's services (device information, log information, anonymous ID and cookie information, and location information). (2) To deliver or display advertisements of the Company or third parties (device information, log information, anonymous ID and cookie information, and location information). (3) For other marketing purposes (name, email address, date of birth, and other information entered by users into input forms established by the Company).
Article 5 (Provision of User Information to Third Parties)
1. Except in the cases set forth below, the Company shall not provide User Information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the user; provided, however, that this shall not apply where such provision is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.
(1) Where it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
(2) Where it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
(3) Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local public entity, or a person entrusted by either of the foregoing in performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the performance of such affairs
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not be deemed to constitute provision to a third party. (1) Where the Company entrusts the handling of all or part of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. (2) Where personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger or other reason. (3) Where personal information is used jointly with a specified person, and the Company has notified the individual in advance of, or has placed the individual in a position to readily know, the prescribed matters.
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
1. Where the Company is requested by an individual to disclose personal information, the Company shall disclose such information to the individual without delay; provided, however, that the Company may decline to disclose all or part of such information where disclosure would fall under any of the following, and where the Company decides not to disclose such information, it shall notify the individual thereof without delay.
(1) Where disclosure is likely to harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party
(2) Where disclosure is likely to significantly impede the proper conduct of the Company's business
(3) Where disclosure would otherwise violate any law or regulation
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Company shall not, in principle, disclose information other than personal information, such as History Information and Characteristic Information.
Article 7 (Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
1. Where the Company receives a request from a user (1) to correct the content of personal information on the grounds that such personal information is not accurate, pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or (2) to suspend the use of personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use previously announced, or that it was collected by false or other wrongful means, pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company shall, after confirming that the request has been made by the user in question, conduct the necessary investigation without delay and, based on the results thereof, correct the content of the personal information or suspend its use, and shall notify the user thereof. Where the Company decides, for reasonable grounds, not to make such correction or suspend such use, it shall notify the user thereof.
2. Where the Company receives a request from a user to erase the user's personal information, and the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with such request, the Company shall, after confirming that the request has been made by the user in question, erase the personal information and notify the user thereof.
3. Where the Company is not obligated to make corrections or suspend use under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations, the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs shall not apply.

Article 9 (Amendment of the Privacy Policy)
The Company shall review its operational practices regarding the handling of User Information as appropriate and shall endeavor to continuously improve such practices, and may amend this Policy as necessary. In the event of any amendment, the Company shall notify users by posting a notice on the Service. Provided, however, that where an amendment involves content for which user consent is required under applicable law, the Company shall obtain such consent by the method prescribed by the Company.
